What is AzamanChat?

A free app to chat, call and go live with friends and family. You can send messages, photos, videos and voice notes, make voice and video calls, follow creators and keep friend streaks.

Is AzamanChat free?

Yes. Joining, chatting and calling are free. Coins are optional and only used for gifts.

How old do I have to be?

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

How do I install it on my phone?

Open the website in your phone browser and choose Add to Home Screen. Our blog has a step by step guide for Android and iPhone.

Why am I not getting notifications?

Open Settings, then Notifications, tap Turn on and then Test. Make sure notifications are allowed for the app in your phone settings, Do Not Disturb is off and battery use is not restricted.

How do I block or report someone?

Open their profile and choose Block or Report. Blocked people cannot message or call you.

How do I hide that I am online?

Open Settings and turn off Show when I am online. Note that you will not see other people's status either.

How do I buy coins?

Open the coins section in the app and choose a pack. Payment is processed securely by Paystack.

How do I delete my account?

Use the option in Settings or contact us. See the Contact page for details.

My video call keeps freezing. What can I do?

Move to a place with a stronger signal, close other apps that use data, or switch to voice. Our blog has a full guide on call quality.
